    Responsibilities

    Most of my time of late involves managing the Regents Math & Science Education Collaborative Initiative (http://www.uni.edu/pres/math-science/).

    Academically, I teach courses in the effective communication of biological science --specifically, I manage, and teach courses for, the Biology Department's Minor in Natural History Interpretation as well as in secondary science teacher preparation.

    Grants History Research Avenues for Iowa Science Educators (RAISE) is now on it's second grant for sustenance to 2010.

    Community Engagement

    I now serve at the request of UNI President Ben Allen as the Iowa Board of Regents statewide Mathematics and Science Education Collaborative Initiative Leader. Try getting that title on a business card...
